[Something more important than winning]

A few years ago, I came to the realization that, as important as winning is to me, and as important as money and financial security is to me, and as important as my health is to me, there was something that was even more important.

I asked these questions of myself:

Why? Take a minute to ask these questions of yourself and your family.

I did, and I discovered that what is most important to me is my

Life-Style.

I work to create a life-style that I enjoy - one that gives me energy, excitement, enthusiasm, makes me want to learn and grow, and gives me an opportunity to help others and live a life balanced between work and play.

Approximately six months a year, I live and work out of Cabo San Lucas, Baja, Mexico. There I work (a little) and share thoughts with CEO's and business leaders from throughout the nation, while we fish... hike... walk the beaches... and, have fun exploring one of the most beautiful places in the world.

The other six months I live and work in the beautiful Willamette valley in Eugene, Oregon, sixty miles from the ocean, and sixty miles from the high mountains. I ride motorcycles, float rivers, backpack into remote areas, go crabbing in the bays of the Pacific Ocean, and spend time with my children and grandchildren.
